Young and old are invited to enjoy an autumnal walk through one of Bury's most wonderful parks — and help make a huge difference to the lives of others.
Bury Lions Club is holding its annual Walk-4-Sight on Saturday, October 5, to support the charity's programme which fights the major causes of preventable and reversible blindness and assist those who are blind or visually impaired.
More than 488 million people have been impacted over the last 30 years.
The walk will take place in Clarence Park, starting at 11am.
Entry fee is £20 and walkers can if they wish be sponsored for taking part to raise funds for a charity or worthy cause of their choice.
Clarence Park cafe will also be open on the day and people can find out more about Bury Lions Club and the work it does to bring about change.
Email burylionsclub@gmail.com or phone 0345 833 9608 for details and entry and sponsorship forms.
