A high-value car was stolen after two burglaries in the same area of the borough.

The break-ins happened on Wednesday, September 11 in the early hours of the morning in the Heaton Street area of Prestwich.

In one of the burglaries, a silver Audi Q3 was stolen.

Residents are now being asked to review CCTV or Ring doorbell footage for any suspicious activity.

A Bury police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating two residential burglaries that occurred in the Heaton Street area of Prestwich on Wednesday, September 11 in the early hours of the morning.

“In one of these burglaries an Audi Q3 in silver was stolen.

“We would like to ask the residents of Heaton Street and those in the immediate vicinity to review any CCTV or ring doorbells you may have for suspicious activity during these times.
