The Trafford Centre is hosting an adrenaline-packed lineup of events this October to celebrate Halloween.
As one of the UK's largest indoor shopping centres, it's no surprise that The Trafford Centre is going big for the spooky season.
The events promise something for people of all ages, with pumpkin picking, children's show stars and circus events as well as action packed fright features.
We've made a list of all the events this Halloween for you to take your pick from.
Gandeys Halloween Spooktacular
From October 11 till November 3, visitors can head on down to the greatest and scariest show with a specially selected cast of skeletons, vampires, Jack o’lanterns and not forgetting Circus Artistes, have been brought together for this year’s sensational extravaganza.
Those wishing to attend the circus, which will be held in car park seven, can book tickets here.
The Halloween trail
Featuring more than 100,000 lights, the trail will see visitors head into Wilderspool Woods and find captivating installations, as well as interactive installations and activities such as pumpkin carving, marshmallow roasting, a skeleton petting zoo and skeleton disco.
Venture further into the woods to discover the skeleton funfair, Ye Olde Skeleton Arms, and abandoned Haunted Hotel, illuminated by a backdrop of captivating lights, before feasting on a variety of food and drink options from Manchester’s best street food venue, Freight Island.
Running from October 17 to November 3, Off-peak tickets start at £8 per child, £10 per adult and family tickets from £32 and can be booked here.
Spookfest fairground and pumpkin tower
Once again, The Trafford Centre will be hosting Spookfest complete with ghastly ghost train, haunted house and lots of tasty treats and maybe even some tricks.
They'll also be creating the pumpkin tower, standing at over five metres tall, this creation will return with over 250 pumpkins and Jack o’lanterns – the perfect spooky selfie spot.
Pop-up pumpkin patch
On October 24 and 25 from 10am till 4pm on the main stage of The Orient, visitors can browse the indoor pumpkin patch and all proceeds from the event will go to chosen charity, FareShare Greater Manchester, the region's largest food redistribution charity, fighting food poverty while saving nutritious food from going to waste.
They will also be holding a Halloween trail through the centre to discover all ten spooky characters.
Once you’re done, make your way into the Pumpkin Patch and pick out your pumpkin to take home for carving or decorating.
Booking isn't required but tickets cost £2 per child.
Meet Pip and Posy from Magic Light Pictures
On October 28 from 11am till 3pm on The Orient main stage meet Pip and Posy from Magic Light Pictures hugely popular and award-winning animated pre-school series on Milkshake!, Sky Kids and Nick Jnr.
Pip and Posy are best friends whose lives revolve around a wonderful world of play.
Packed with warmth and comedy, the series is a celebration of their great friendship, its laughter and games, its ups and downs.
The series is inspired by the million selling picture book series from multi-award-winning illustrator Axel Scheffler.
