Ramsbottom came together for a celebration of inclusivity for its annual Pride event.
Ramsbottom Pride took place on Saturday, September 21 at the Civic Hall in the town centre.
The event, which aims to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and promote inclusivity, was a testament to the strong sense of unity and acceptance that characterises Ramsbottom.

This year saw the enthusiastic participation of the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and their commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and fostering positive relationships.
Officers from GMP actively participated in the day’s activities, engaging with attendees, answering questions, and showing solidarity with the values of diversity and equality.

GMP’s involvement in Ramsbottom Pride is part of its wider scheme to build stronger relationships with all communities across Greater Manchester.
By attending events like this, the force is actively working to break down barriers to create an environment where everyone can feel comfortable approaching the police, regardless of background or identity.
