A cannabis farm has been discovered in Bury after neighbours were concerned about a strong smell coming from the property.
Bury town centre and Whitefield neighbourhood teams attended an address on Spring Street this morning, Wednesday.
One man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.
More than 100 cannabis plants were seized and "serious organised criminality" was "disrupted", police said.

A Bury police spokesperson said: “This morning (Wednesday) the town centre neighbourhood team assisted by the Whitefield neighbourhood team attended an address on Spring Street in Bury.
“This was in direct response to reports from concerned members of the public regarding the smell of cannabis coming from the address. We took along our own big red key and gained entry to the property.
“One male arrested for cultivation of cannabis and abstraction of electricity, over 100 cannabis plants seized, and serious organised criminality disrupted!
“We are committed to tackling organised crime within our communities, to assist in that we need events reporting to us that could be a small piece of the larger puzzle.”
