Alex said that the hospital holds a special place in her heart as they helped her when she was a child.

She said: “It was when I needed rehabilitation to be able to walk again from my cerebral palsy and they help me to learn to use a walker and how to stand up properly.

“I was born with lack of oxygen and that was what caused me to have cerebral palsy from birth and I needed help to learn to walk so they help me take my first steps.”
