Trams are back up and running after a medical emergency was reported at Whitefield earlier this morning.
Trams were previously suspended between Bury and Whitefield after a medical emergency was reported at Whitefield.
Replacement bus services were available for those wanting to continue their journey to Radcliffe and Bury.

Due to a medical emergency, there is no tram service operating between Whitefield & Bury.

Ticket acceptance is in place on the 17, 18, 41, 52, 53, 66, 90, 95, 97, 98, 112, 117, 118, 119, 135, 156, 163 & 524 bus services.

A spokesperson for the Bee Network said: “Due to a medical emergency call at Whitefield, there are no services between Whitefield and Bury.
“There is ticket acceptance in place on the following bus services: 17, 18, 41, 52, 53, 66, 90, 95, 97, 98, 112, 117, 118, 119, 135, 156, 163, 524 bus service. Simply show the driver your Metrolink ticket or pass when boarding.

“If you need to continue your journey by bus, please visit our journey planner so you know where to get on and off the bus.
“This feature is also available via the Bee Network app where you can also find bus tracking information.”
Northwest Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
