Free workshops to hone youngsters' creativity will be on offer for youngsters in Bury from next week.
The 12-week programme, run by The League of Curiosity CIC, will be held every Wednesday for children aged between 10 and 16 at The Met theatre's "storytelling hub" from 5.30 to 7.30pm, starting on September 4.
The innovative workshops in the hub, a beautifully curated and nurturing creative space, will deliver hands-on training in a variety of practical creative skills, including puppetry, creative writing, and public speaking.
Designed to empower young voices, the sessions will provide a supportive and creative environment, particularly for those experiencing challenges such as low mood, poor mental health, low self-esteem, or emotional regulation difficulties.

Through activities focused on creative thinking and storytelling, participants will develop essential life skills, increased self-confidence, and the cultivation of new talents.
The League of Curiosity's youth programme has received £9,935 from the Bury Culture Fund made possible by the government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The Bury Culture Fund is delivered by the council, in partnership with Bury VCFA to invest in communities to unlock extra opportunities for people to get involved in arts, culture and local heritage in the borough.
