Bury's Mulberry Bush Nursery Group's families and friends raised a remarkable £1,845 for two charities.
The nurseries, located in Whitefield, Walmersley, Dumers Lane, Tottington, and Walshaw celebrated charity week in May, where children and staff dressed in primary colours, and parents made donations.
The week was filled with exciting activities for the 800 attending children, including surprise visits from Iggle Piggle, Winnie the Pooh and Cat Boy.
The two charities chosen to benefit were The Good Life Orphanage and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The former, based in Kenya, provides care for around 100 children and lost its founder, Mary McGuire, to a brief illness in May.
The latter was chosen to honour Joanne Kelly, a beloved Mulberry Bush colleague, who died in the summer.
Nursery director Paul Robinson said: "Joanne’s death shook everyone at Mulberry Bush Nursery and so it was fitting to raise funds for Macmillan who cared for Joanne during her illness.
"She left a massive hole at Mulberry Bush and this was a fitting way to pay tribute to one of our colleagues.
"The Good Life Orphanage is a charity we have raised funds for for a number of years and again, following the tragic loss of Mary, it was poignant raising money for them this year.
"Every year we hold a charity week and every year, with the help of our extremely generous families and team members, we raise an outstanding amount of money.
"It’s superb for the children to enjoy the week and it's brilliant for us, as a nursery group, to be able to fundraise for important causes."
