A Bury entrepreneur is launching a new women's group in the borough.

The inaugural meeting for Maria Worthington's Ladies Empowerment Circle group takes place on Tuesday, September 24 at 10am at The Pack Horse pub in Affetside.

The circle provides a welcoming environment for all women, whether they are business owners or perhaps contemplating starting their own business.

It's also an encouraging space for those seeking the camaraderie of other inspiring women.

Ms Worthington said: "I'm thrilled to bring the Ladies Empowerment Circle to Bury.

"This group is all about creating a space where women can connect, learn, and grow together.

"Whether you're an established business owner, just starting out, or looking for support and inspiration, you'll find a warm and welcoming community here."

Each meeting is designed to be approachable and engaging with a spotlight on empowerment and personal development.

Participants have the chance to discuss important issues, impart their personal experiences, and depart feeling motivated and enriched.

The events are accessible to all, irrespective of business experience, with an aim to nurture collaboration and mutual backup.

These gatherings are monthly with each session costing as little as £5.

Attendees are urged to reserve their places on TryBooking, guaranteeing their involvement in this vibrant and rewarding community affair.

"Empowered women empower women," Ms Worthington added.

"This is more than just a networking group; it's a movement to lift each other up, share knowledge, and build lasting connections.

"I'm excited to see the impact we can make together in Bury."
