Holy Cross College students achieved “wonderful” A-levels results yesterday, Thursday.
The Manchester Road college said the A-level pass rate this year was 98 per cent and 11 students achieved at least four A*/A grades (including extended project qualification).
More than 900 students at the college picked up their results.
A total of 479 A*/A grades were achieved, with A*to B grades extending to 1,090.
The pass rate for the level 3 BTEC extended certificate was 100 per cent with all students achieving high grades.
A total of 129 individual DS*/DS grades were achieved with the number rising to 205 for DS*, DS and M grades.
The pass rate for the level 3 applied diploma was 98 per cent with 38 A*/A grades awarded, increasing to 205 for A*-B.
The extended project qualification rate was 100 per cent with 88 per cent receiving high grades.
