It scored "good" in all areas- its quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management.

The report, published following the inspection on June 28, said: "Children are happy, settled and calm at the setting. This is due to the warm and positive relationships that staff develop with them.

"Children are encouraged to complete tasks on their own, which helps to develop their self-esteem and independence.

"The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. There is an open and positive culture around safeguarding that puts children's interests first.

Thirty children aged from one to four were on the nursery's roll at the time of the visit.

Its last inspection was in August 2018, when it also received a "good" ranking.

The report added: "The management team has supported staff to make improvements since the last inspection. For example, staff use their knowledge of child development and the interests of the child to deliver activities that spark interest and participation.

"Staff have an excellent understanding of the individual support some children need. They provide highly sensitive support and use additional funding effectively to offer children further learning opportunities.

"Staff work closely with other professionals to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to ensure that they have the support they need to develop.

"Parents speak about the vital support given to all children and themselves to support learning and early intervention. Consequently, children are making continuous progress in their learning."

The report said that in order to improve the provider needs to "help staff to plan more precisely to support high-quality language development, particularly for younger children".

It was reported that the manager "failed to notify Ofsted that the premises were having building work completed which directly impacted on the space available for children to access".

But "robust risk assessments and monitoring have ensured that children's well-being and safety have been maintained". This meant there has been no "detrimental impact on children's well-being, learning and development".
