A fire service open day in Bury at the weekend has been hailed a "huge success".
More than 1,000 people went to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service's training and safety centre on Hinds Lane on Sunday.
As well as meeting firefighters, people who attended were able to see rescue demonstrations and take a tour of the "state-of-the-art" facilities.
Bury Fire Choir also performed at the event too.

A fire service spokesperson said: "A big thank you to everyone who came to our open day at our training and safety centre in Bury on Sunday.
"The event was a huge success with over 1,000 people coming to meet our firefighters, watch our rescue demonstrations and take a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities.
"There was even a performance from the amazing Bury Fire Choir."
