A pop-up art exhibition inspired by walks in an area of the borough will be held over the August bank holiday weekend.
Prestwich-based artist Louise Garman will host the "Human Nature" exhibition at the Barn and Forest Garden at Philips Park in Prestwich.
The exhibition will run on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, from 10am to 4pm, with free admission for all.
Ms Garman is well-versed in the art world and has exhibited her work across Europe and the UK.
The pop-up showcase will feature her artwork, consisting of silkscreens, drawings, and sketches.
In addition to an indoor display inside the Barn, there will be an outdoor forest trail lined with large fabric hangings, installations, and "surprises" among the trees.
Ms Garman said: "I have created a series of works based on nature and man’s mark on the planet using watercolours on a huge scale.
"The multi-media works are influenced by walks close to my home in Prestwich, in Drinkwater Park, Prestwich Clough, Heaton Park, and, of course, Philips Park, where the industrial past meets the green environment.
"My work is an emotional response."
The event is a result of her partnership with Incredible Edible Prestwich and District.
Funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and the Parklife Community Fund has provided the resources for community workshops before the exhibition.
Various groups, including Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Pennine Care’s Nature and Wellbeing Group, Jewish Action for Mental Health, and a homeschoolers group, have participated.
Artworks developed in these workshops will be part of the exhibit.
Mark Lockwood, a representative from Incredible Edible Prestwich and District, said: "We’re very much looking forward to hosting the exhibition at Philips Park this summer, and to showcasing the work that Incredible Edible does here which includes community garden growing of vegetables, herbs and wildflowers, and we’re always happy to accept new volunteers.
"I hope that the weather will be great and lots of people will be coming along."
The venue location for the exhibition is Philips Park, Philip Park Road, Park Lane, Whitefield M45 7QJ.

Ms Garman, a graduate of the Chelsea School of Art, continued her artistic journey studying at the Royal Academy and Slade.
Currently, she is a director of neo:artists in Bolton.
Throughout her career, she has exhibited across Greater Manchester and Europe and has run art workshops in various locations, from HMP Manchester to RHS Bridgewater.
The Human Nature pop-up exhibition is a spin-off from the Bury New Road Heritage Project by Mary Burns Community Group.
Ms Garman was the resident artist for this venture.
