A Tottington pub will officially reopen its doors in two weeks following an extensive refurbishment and coming under new management.

The Lamb on Tottington Road closed earlier this year after the passing of its long-time landlord Roger Elliott, who served the community for a decade.

In honour of Roger’s legacy, The Lamb has chosen Bury Hospice as its official charity.

The new landlords of the pub are John and Louise Liotti who are looking forward to welcoming customers old and new.

Their older children will be part of the new family business as they help out with the day-to-day running of the venture.

Louise said: “We’re excited to meet everyone and hope they are as pleased as we are with the work and renovations that have been recently carried out at The Lamb giving it a fresh new look.”

The pub will show all major sports broadcasts, occasional live music performances and the return of the traditional bi-weekly quiz hosted by Luis McBriar.

A selection of beers, wines, spirits as well as hot and cold soft drinks will be on offer too.

Lesley Snape, who has worked at The Lamb for 33 years, is eager to return to her role behind the bar.

She said: “I’m excited to get back to what I enjoy most—serving customers.”

The Lamb will be collaborating with Cosalea Café Bars and Caterers in a joint venture to ensure the pub’s success with a strong focus on community engagement.

Together they aim to make The Lamb a community hub where locals can gather and enjoy an atmosphere that welcomes everyone.
