Bury's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the next two weeks.
Three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, show that one closure is already in place and is expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 8pm on July 8 to 6am on Saturday, August 10, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 both directions, junction 2 to junction 4 due to a carriageway closure for inspection and survey.
A further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 9pm on Wednesday, July 31 to 5am on Friday, August 2, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions, junction 18 due to a lane closure for carriageway reconstruction and renewal.
• M66, from 9pm on Friday, August 2 to 5am on Saturday, August 3, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 both directions junction 1 to junction 2 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M66, from 9pm on Saturday, August 3 to 5am on Sunday, August 4, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 northbound, junction 2 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M60, from 9pm on Saturday, August 3 to 5am on Sunday, August 4, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 15 to junction 17 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M60, from 9pm on Saturday, August 3 to 5am on Sunday, August 4, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M62 westbound, junction 18 to M60, junction 15 due to a carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction and renewal on behalf of National Highways.
• M60, from 9pm on Sunday, August 4 to 5am on Tuesday, August 6, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions junction 18 to junction 16 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M60, from 9pm August 5 to 5am August 22, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 northbound, junction 4 to junction 3 due to carriageway closure for drainage.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
