Estate agent Jennie Platt Estates has been taken over, it has been announced.

Normie Estate Agents took over Jennie Platt Estates on Bury New Road, Prestwich, this month, increasing the number of letting properties under its management to almost 600.

The agency has its flagship office in the same town and this latest move is said to mark a significant milestone in its growth.

Jennie Platt will continue to lead her established city centre agency City Centre Chic, where she says she will concentrate on strengthening her presence and services in central Manchester.

Normie has been doing business in the borough for more than 45 years, making it one of the largest and oldest in the region, and prides itself on supporting local community events.
