A van has been seized after being found to have been on false plates, police have said.
Officers came across the vehicle in Prestwich last night, Tuesday, before carrying out checks on it which showed it was on false plates.
Police said the driver also had no insurance and has been reported.

A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said: "This vehicle was seized by GMP Traffic in Prestwich.
"Unfortunately for the driver, the vehicle was found to be on false plates with no insurance.
"The driver was issued a traffic offence report."
Police also said the vehicle was referred to Operation Wolverine, which takes proactive action to make the roads safer.
Last year police revealed it had led to a 20 per cent fall in serious and fatal collisions since 2021.
