Blackpool Winter Gardens is set to host a packed roster of entertainment events this August.

The month kicks off with Rebellion Festival, running from August 1 to 4.

This annual punk event brings together 8000 music enthusiasts for a four-day celebration of top-class music, entertainment, merchandise and even a literary festival.

August 8 promises a nostalgic night with The Magic of Motown, which, now in its 18th year, continues to celebrate the timeless hits of The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder.

The ABBA tribute show ‘Thank You for the Music’ comes to Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on August 9, offering fans old and new a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

August 10 sees the Le Classique De Danse Awards honouring the dance profession across various categories, presented by former Strictly star Vito Coppola and choreographed by the legendary Duncan Trever.

On August 11, The North of Britain Titles evening will witness budding juniors and senior competitors compete in Ballroom & Latin Titles and The Icon Classical Sequence Titles.

Meanwhile, a week-long run from August 19 to 24 sees the return of the musical classic ‘Grease’, promising to take fans straight back to Rydell High.

August ends with a bang with two incredible musical experiences.

On August 29 is ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, a musical celebration of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

And closing the month, August 30 to September 1, The British Country Music Festival invades Blackpool, with a stellar line-up including Randall King, Beth Neilsen Chapman and Kezia Gill.

This three-day event is a true celebration of authentic country music.
