A theatre company in Bury is bringing a Disney classic to the stage next week.
All Saints Elton Theatre Company will present its next musical production of Beauty and the Beast at The Met from Thursday, July 18 to Sunday, July 21.
A family favourite, the magical fairytale musical features much-loved songs including “Be Our Guest” and “Tale as Old as Time”, and a cast of popular characters including Mrs Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth, all made famous by the 1991 animated film.

The show’s director, Andy Milthorpe, said: “All Saints Elton Theatre Company have been rehearsing since March to bring you this magical and spellbinding story.
“The cast have thoroughly enjoyed bringing the ‘Disney Magic’ to life through song, dance and character.

“On behalf of the production team and cast we are excited to stage and bring this wonderful story and musical to Bury this July.”
All Saints Elton was established in 1912 and has a long history of staging theatre in Bury, with recent productions including Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, The Vicar of Dibley and Blood Brothers.
The group also has a youth theatre, which launched in 2022 for children aged six to 16.

It aims to give them a space to explore drama, singing and dancing while making friends and building their confidence.
The group will perform their next production of Matilda JR at The Met this month too.
