More than a dozen borough homes on the site of a former care home have gone on the market.
The homes are situated on the former Wheatfields Day Centre on Victoria Avenue in Whitefield.
Affordable homes provider Onward Living has made 14 three-bedroom semi-detached homes available to reserve "off-plan" with example prices starting from £100,000 based on 40 per cent shared ownership.

Shared ownership allows home-seekers to purchase a share of their home between 10 per cent and 75 per cent of the property’s full market value and pay rent on the remaining amount.
Buying a percentage of the home means a smaller deposit can be put down which makes it easier for people, particularly first-time buyers to get a foot on the property ladder.
All the homes are spacious and contemporary three-bedroom homes built with modern living in mind, featuring stylish fittings and appliances, a large kitchen/diner and utility space, a separate lounge for entertaining guests, fully turfed gardens, solar panels and EV charging points, and off-street parking.

Alison Gittins, head of sales at Onward Living, said: “We’re thrilled to have launched these fantastic homes at our new Wheatfields development, and cannot wait to help wannabe homeowners in the area find their dream home.
“Having previously sold homes for shared ownership here in Whitefield, we know just how high demand is for affordable housing in this area.
“With the great location and excellent specification of these latest releases, we expect the homes at Wheatfields to be snapped up quickly.
“We advise anyone interested in securing a home here to register their interest and speak to our friendly sales team straight away to avoid missing out.”
