Drivers in and around Bury will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for in the next two weeks.
Six of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
Six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 8pm on Thursday, July 4 to 6am on Friday, July 5, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 20 for a carriageway closure for electrical works.
• M60, from 8pm on Friday, July 5 to 6am on Saturday, July 6, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 19 to junction 20 for a carriageway closure for electrical works on behalf of National Highways.
• M66, from 8pm on Monday, July 8 to 6am on Saturday, July 27, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 both directions, junction 2 to junction 4 for a carriageway closure for inspection and survey.
• M60, from 9pm on Monday, July 8 to 6am on Monday, July 15, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions junction 17 to junction 19 for a carriageway closure for construction improvement.
• M60, from 8pm on Saturday, July 13 to 6am on Sunday, July 14, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 19 for a carriageway closure for electrical works on behalf of National Highways.
• M60, from 9pm on Saturday, July 13 to 5am on Sunday, July 14, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions, junction 16 to junction 18 for a carriageway closure for communications.
One road closure also started yesterday, Monday:
• M60, from 9pm on Monday, July 1 to 6am on Saturday, July 6, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions junction 17 to junction 19 for lane closures and a carriageway closure for construction improvement.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
