A travel alert has been put in place this weekend due to planned road closures.
Road resurfacing works are taking place on the Bury and Bolton Road junction in Radcliffe this weekend - and for the next two weekends.
From 9am to 3.30pm, sections of the road will be closed to through traffic and temporary traffic lights will be in place.

Higher Ainsworth Road will be closed from number 80 to the junction and a diversion will be in place taking motorists down Turks Road, Radcliffe Moor Road, Bury New Road, Bury and Bolton Road and vice-versa.
Starling Road will be closed from number 70 to the junction and a diversion will be in place taking motorists down Bury and Bolton Road, Watling Street, Ainsworth Road and vice-versa.

Residents are reminded that bus stops may be closed and services may be diverted.
Bin collections will be done collected earlier before the work starts on their scheduled day and residents have been asked to put them out before 7am.
