The Royal Air Force’s (RAF) Red Arrows amaze spectators as they fly and loop through the air but when will they next be visible in Lancashire?

The pilots fly the planes, twisting and turning through the skies, performing impressive displays and flypasts at events and to mark special occasions.

This summer, the team will be flying over Blackpool as part of the Blackpool Air Show – here’s what we know.

When will the Red Arrows do a display in Lancashire?

The Red Arrows will be at the Blackpool Air Show this year, it has been confirmed.

Visitors will be able to watch the display on both days of the Air Show – Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11.

You can see all the displays scheduled for the Red Arrows this year via the RAF website.

The Visit Blackpool website explains that the Red Arrows won’t be alone as they’ll be joined by the RAF Typhoon display team as well as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight on both days.

It says visitors can expect to see “the very best in British aviation with a whole host of amazing flying machines and some of the country’s most talented pilots.”
