A Bury man has been charged with dangerous driving following a crash.
Police say the driver of a white Mercedes C300 vehicle was requested to stop at 8.15pm on Friday, June 14, on Manchester Road in Whitefield due to driving at high speed.
After the driver reportedly failed to stop, he was involved in a crash with another vehicle a short time later – with no serious injuries to anyone involved.
Wasi Ahmed, of Barlow Close, Bury, was charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, and failing to stop for police.
The 21-year-old has been remanded into custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (Monday, June 17).
A 25-year-old man has also been arrested for perverting the course of justice, and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
