A new Harlan Coben novel is set to be adapted into a limited Netflix series with some filming to be done in Bury town centre.
The series, "Missing You", will be produced by Quay Street Productions and filming is already underway.
The popular Netflix, series "Fool Me Once", another Coben novel, captivated viewers late last year.
And the success of this series gave "Missing You" and another of Coben's novels "Run Away" the green light.

"Fool Me Once" amassed 61 million views globally in its first two weeks, reaching the top 10 in 91 countries worldwide.
The Arcade Club in Bury was featured in the show with their rows of vintage and new arcade games seen as star of the show Michelle Keegan walked through.
The filming for "Missing You" is thought to feature shots from Cooper Street and Castle Street in Bury town centre.

Filming was due to start on Friday, June 7 in Bury for exterior shots of Cooper Street.
The series is a thriller, and the storyline follows that 11 years ago Detective Kat Donovan's fiancé Josh – the love of her life – disappeared and she's never heard from him since.
Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again.

Josh's reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.
Scenes for the series have already been shot on Hardman Street in Spinningfields and Victoria Square in Bolton.
Actors include Slow Horses star Rosalind Eleazar will take the lead role of Kat, with Richard Armitage, Lenny Henry, Samantha Spiro, Steve Pemberton, Lisa Faulkner and Paul Kaye also confirmed as cast members.
