Bury Bandemonium is set to return to the town centre this weekend.
The eighth annual event will see bands performing in open air venues around the town centre to entertain and inspire visitors of all ages on Saturday, June 15.
Shoppers and families can follow the sounds of brass, concert bands and choirs who will be performing in various locations around the town’s centre.

Organiser Andrew Taylor has announced the full line-up of bands taking part.
Bury Music Service will have a number of ensembles performing in Racconto Square at The Rock between 9.30am and 2pm.
Bloco Ashe Samba Band will be performing in Kay Gardens as they greet passengers from the bus station and tram stop between 11am and 1pm.

Crumpsall Concert Band will be playing in St John's Square at The Rock from 11am until 1pm and will be followed by the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Lancashire) Band who will play from 1pm until 3pm.

Back in Racconto Square, the Phoenix Parade Band will be entertaining from 2pm until 3pm before marching to and from St John's Square until 4pm.
The event is important as it has inspired young people to learn to play a musical instrument or join a local band.
The free event will take place on Saturday, June 15 between 9.30am and 2pm.
