Having released music on iconic labels, Stones Throw Records and Mellow Music Group, he headed to Wax and Beans on Market Street last Friday.

He treated spectators to a live show, question and answer session and an album playback as part of his five-date European tour.

A Wax and Beans spokesperson added: "Many local fans of hip hop, including beatmakers and DJs from the Greater Manchester area, supported the event which usually sees acts of this calibre play in Manchester city centre, so it was great to see Homeboy supporting this venue in Bury."
