A drug dealer said to police "I've been caught red handed" after his house was raided.

Rowell Scott's property on Clively Avenue, Salford, was visited by police in February this year after intelligence was gathered.

While there police found cannabis based items along with 300 vapes, small amounts of crack cocaine and heroin and £1,876 in cash.

Drug paraphernalia including scales and bags were also recovered.

PC Anthony McClearn, from GMP’s Salford Challenger team, said: “Challenger’s work is all about disruption: disrupting criminals who flood the streets with drugs, causing untold hurt, pain and damage to communities.

“By conducting regular work, including warrants, intelligence gathering, and working with partners, we can ensure that we do our absolute best to keep harmful drugs out of the hands of vulnerable people.

“A lot of our work depends on people in the community coming forward – and we are always grateful for any tip-offs people may have. You can contact police on 101, via gmp.police.uk, or by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111
