A grandmother is celebrating after winning the Made In Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw.
Margaret Hogan, from Radcliffe, has won the draw with ticket number 23979.
She worked as a supervisor at Halls Mentholyptus in Radcliffe for 29 years before retiring.
She bought a ticket in the draw to help her grandson Aaron Hughes, owner of Under Pressure Cleaning Valeting and Maintenance to give back to Made In Bury, as he himself has a business benefitting from being part of the Made In Bury Business Academy Class of 2023.
Aaron, having a new start-up business, knows how important training and mentoring is in the early days, and with the help of his family and friends, he bought five tickets in the draw, resulting in Under Pressure becoming a supporter.
The firm's services include all aspects of jet washing, windows and exterior cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, car valeting and much more.
When the draw team called Aaron with the news that one of his supporter tickets had won, he was "over the moon" to find out that it was his grandmother’s ticket and helped to plan a surprise with the big cheque.
When asked what she will be spending the money on, Margaret said half would go to Aaron and the other half would go towards extra spending money for their annual holiday to Portugal.
Aaron said his £1000 would be re invested back into his business.
