Drivers in and around Bury will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
Three of them are expected to cause moderate delays, with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A56, from 8pm May 8 to 6am June 29, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 northbound, M66, junction 1 to A56 / A680, junction due to carriageway closure for inspection and survey.
A further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 8pm May 21 to 5am May 22, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise from junction 18 to junction 17 due to lane closure for communications.
• M60, from 8pm June 3 to 5am June 4, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise from junction 18 to junction 17 due to carriageway closure for communications.
• M60, from 9pm June 3 to 5am June 4, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M62 both directions lane closures and slip closures with Simister Island Roundabout and carriageway closure on the North side of roundabout.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
