The firm run by two borough dads who are on a mission to help businesses cut carbon emissions have planted more than half a million trees across the world.
Play It Green, a subscription service set up by Prestwich dads Chris Thair and Richard Dickson, has achieved the impressive milestone of planting 519,000 in four countries.
The company, whose client base includes families, G4S, Manchester Central and London’s Regency Club, says this number of trees is enough to rebalance the greenhouse gas emissions created by every licenced car in Bury so far this year.

Chris said: “Half a million trees is a fantastic milestone and something we’re really proud of, especially as it is only part of what we do.
"We’re helping reduce many families' anxiety around climate change and lots of businesses to grow in today’s market, empowering them all with the education and tools to do more.
“I’m a strong believer in businesses leaving a positive legacy for the people involved, the communities it works with and the planet.
"Play It Green is empowering businesses to do just that and win new custom, tenders and partners.
"The great thing is, the more subscribers we have and the more businesses that add a tree to a sale through us, the more positive impact we create in the world. It is very much a collective effort and a wonderful community to be part of.”
Richard added: “It is thanks to our members that we’ve reached this amazing milestone of half a million trees.
"We’ve created forests of Mangrove trees along coastlines, agroforestry trees on land and kelp trees in the sea.
"The trees help bring new life, employment, prosperity and a brighter future for all.
“We know many people and businesses want to be greener and more impactful, however don’t have the budget, time or inclination as to where to start.
"That’s why we formed Play It Green, why so many are signing up and why we reach these fantastic milestones of planting over a half a million trees."
Play It Green is a unique subscription service that was set up to help make it as easy as possible to move to net zero and take sustainable action.
