A Radcliffe company came up with a novel solution to a lack of warehouse space - a giant inflatable building.
Bee Mouldings on the Eton Hill industrial estate started using the inflated ‘dome’ in 1979 which gave them 7,000 square feet of extra floor space. Large fans kept the building inflated and ready for use.
