Castle Leisure Centre in Bury will be closed in the next three days for the elections.
The Bolton Street facility will be out of use from Thursday to Saturday to allow votes to be counted at the site.
The council election votes will be counted at the site on Friday and the Greater Manchester mayoral election ballot papers will be added up on Saturday.
The leisure centre will reopen on Sunday and Ramsbottom Pool will remain open throughout this time.

A Bury Leisure spokesperson said: "Castle Leisure Centre will be closed all day on Thursday, May 2, Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 while the centre is in use as a counting centre for the local elections.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"Ramsbottom Pool will be open as usual and Castle will reopen from 8am on Sunday, May 5."
