Heart-warming footage shows the moment when a newly qualified firefighter proposed to his stunned girlfriend - at his pass-out parade.
The video revealed how recent recruit James was called forward during the ceremony at Bury Training and Safety Centre and then got down on one knee in front of his shocked partner, Melissa.
And when he pulled a ring out of his pocket, the crowd of roughly 100 onlookers let out gasps before applauding the happy couple.
James received a kiss from Melissa after she said "yes" and then returned to stand with his clapping colleagues from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue.
