Prestwich’s al fresco scene is about to expand with an Italian-style wine window coming to a venue in the town.
The Pearl on Bury New Road will be serving wine out of a Mediterranean-inspired wine door from 5pm onwards on Friday, May 3 for evening drinks.
Customers will be able to sip house specials and enjoy sunny days looking onto the community garden next to The Pearl.
A music playlist overseen by regular DJ Tom Manning, who has been behind the bar at The Pearl since it opened in November, will be enjoyed by customers too.

Sam Taylor, owner of The Pearl, said: “It was a last minute decision to knock a hole in the wall and bring a slice of Florence to Prestwich and now summer is here, I’m so glad we did.
“We’ll be serving special glasses from the window - one red, one white - and a house beer.
“We might even crack open some sparkling or a particularly delicious rosé on especially balmy evenings.”

To order a drink, people will be able to knock on the door and choose a drink from the chalkboard menu on the inside.
Drinks can be consumed on the tables situated on the pavement outside The Pearl.
The a la carte menu will be served as usual in the dining room.
