The candidates for the council local elections next month have been named.
One third of the council’s 51 seats will be contested, one in each of the borough’s 17 wards on Thursday, May 2.
The local authority is reminding people to bring photographic ID to be able to vote at the polling station on election day.
Residents have until Tuesday, April 16 to make sure they are on the electoral register and therefore entitled to vote.
If you want a postal vote, you need to apply online by 5pm on Wednesday, April 17.
The deadline for applying for a proxy vote is Wednesday, April 24.
Residents will receive a polling card before the elections which tells you where your polling station is.
These stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, May 2.
Votes will be counted the day after on Friday, May 3.
