A specialist driving instructor is celebrating after winning the Made In Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw.
Graham Evans, owner of award-winning business Get Driving Today, scooped the prize with ticket number 20634.
Graham, from Radcliffe, is a specialist driving instructor teaching those with extra high anxiety along with dyspraxia, dyslexia and those on the autistic spectrum.
With a fully booked diary and a waiting list of students, it was going to be difficult for the draw team to catch up with Graham to give him the good news.
But thanks to the help of his daughter Kerry Evans, a Made In Bury 2022/2023 Business Academy student, the team managed to speak to him between lessons.
Graham was delighted and said he got married to his wife Lynette recently and are due to set sale on a honeymoon cruise to Monaco in May.
He said his winnings will be used as extra spending money to make their honeymoon more special.
Graham joined the draw in 2018 to help support local start-up businesses. And he has seen first hand the benefit of tickets sales, with the support the business academy has provided for his daughter's start-up firm, which has thrived.
Get Driving Today was set up in 2007 and has gone from strength to strength, winning multiple awards and commendations including five awards in the Made In Bury Business Awards and achieving "Highly Commended" in the Best in Class - Motoring and Transport in 2019.
If you’d like to win like Graham, go to www.draw.madeinbury.co.uk for tickets.
The draw is a not-for-profit scheme with funds raised from the draw supporting start-up businesses in Bury with training and interest free loans.
There are 2,400 tickets available and for £2 per ticket per week, you have a chance to win £2,000 every Wednesday.
