A borough road will close for a couple of days from tonight, Monday, as engineers carry out work affecting the tram network.
Church Lane in Whitefield will be shut from 7pm until 6am between these times until Wednesday.
The road will be inaccessible to drivers between Grosvenor Road and Bury New Road.
The resurfacing works are "in connection with the Whitefield Metrolink tunnel", the council has said.
