Managing director Andrew Cardwell said: “All of us at Cardwells Estate Agents are huge admirers of the magnificent work that Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Bury do all year round.
“We have seen first-hand what a wonderful charity it is.
“My children fell in love with Thom, a fluffy feline bundle of joy earlier this year, who was looked after at Bleakholt for many months, who they are now completely besotted with, and can’t imagine life without!

“My colleagues and I have previously undertaken charity initiatives to help Bleakholt in a small way, and in fact this is our third year of collecting and helping do a little something for Bleakholt.
“We recently held another ‘Bring a Pet To Work’ day, which was great fun.
“Now we are collecting on behalf of Bleakholt at both of our Bury and Bolton town centre offices.
“If you can spare anything such as a lead, or a little extra animal food, toys or equipment we will make sure it is safely delivered to Bleakholt.”
