Staff at a garden centre dug deep at its festive and new year fundraising events in aid of a children's charity.
Fundraising events at Summerseat Garden Centre, which included the Christmas grotto and jukebox evening ,raised £2,888.47 to support the Ramsbottom branch of Save the Children.

Chairman of the branch, Mavis Hopkinson, said: "We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our Summerseat Garden Centre customers through Christmas and into the New Year.
"These events not only spread joy and cheer locally but also made a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended the events."

Garden centre general manager Jack Slater said: “We are proud to be able to create and host events at our garden centre which support good causes.
“We always try to include a fundraising event or two into our annual plans and will continue to do so for many years to come.”
Since opening 40 years ago, the garden centre has raised more than £25,000 for charitable causes locally and globally.
