Bury's motorists will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
Eight of them are expected to cause moderate delays with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M60 from 9pm on March 7 to 6am on March 23, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions junction 18 to junction 19 - lane closures and carriageway closure for white lining/road markings on behalf of National Highways.
A further 13 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60 from 8pm on Tuesday, March 12 to 5am on Wednesday, March 13, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 both directions junction 16 to junction 17 - lane closure for communications.
• M60, from 8pm on Wednesday, March 13 to 6am on Thursday, March 14, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise, junction 18 to junction 19 - carriageway closure for sign erection on behalf of National Highways.
• M60 from 8pm on Wednesday, March 13 to 6am on Thursday, March 14, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 16 to junction 17 - carriageway closure for sign erection.
• M66 from 9pm on Thursday, March 14 to 5am on Friday, March 15, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 northbound, junction 2 to junction 1 - lane closure for permanent barriers.
• M60 from 11.59pm on Thursday, March 14 to 6am on Friday, March 15, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M62 eastbound, junction 17 to junction 19 - carriageway closure for horticulture.
• M62 from 8pm on Friday, March 15 to 5am on Saturday, March 16, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 18 - lane closure for barriers that are permanent on behalf of National Highways.
• M66 from 9pm on Saturday, March 16 to 6am on Sunday, March 17, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 both directions junction 0 to junction 2 - carriageway closure for structure and maintenance.
• M60 from 9pm on Saturday, March 16 to 5am on Monday, March 18, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise, junction 18 to junction 15 - lane closure for permanent barriers.
• M60 from 8pm on Tuesday, March 19 to 5am on Wednesday, March 20, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 18 to junction 17 - lane closure for barriers that are permanent on behalf of National Highways.
• M60 from 9pm on Wednesday, March 20 to 5am on Friday, March 22, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise, junction 19 to junction 18 - lane closure for permanent barriers.
• M66 from 8pm on Thursday, March 21 to 5am on Friday, March 22, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 18 - lane closure for barriers that are permanent on behalf of National Highways.
• M60 from 8pm on Friday, March 22 to 5am on Saturday, March 23, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 16 to junction 18 - lane closure for barriers that are permanent on behalf of National Highways.
• M60 from 8pm on Monday, March 25 to 5am on Tuesday, March 26, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 18 to junction 19 - lane closure for signs and maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
