They also pointed out that the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

One happy customer said: “Polite efficient staff, very clean restaurant, reliably good. The full menu caters for all, and they are adept at making the choices personal to the customers' requirements.”

McDonald's The Rock

This McDonald’s, located in the heart of Bury town centre, is known for being a busy place.

It received some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor though.

One satisfied customer said: “Best McDonald's I have been to staff working very hard and fast had a good meal and we'll be coming back.”

However, one disappointed customer said: “Burger came with no meat, bugs everywhere disgusting to eat next to, slow service, miserable faces all around. Disgusted.”

This restaurant unfortunately has many more bad reviews that good.

One dissatisfied customer said: “Really getting fed up with missing items or wrong items.

“Honestly this place needs to get a grip, it’s not hard. It feels like somethings wrong on every order now.”

However, a positive one read: “Food was of the expected high standard. Staff friendly efficient and helpful.

Going down the ratings now, this McDonald's venue in Bury has taken a hammering in the TripAdvisor ratings, with 54 people calling the restaurant "terrible".

One scathing reviewer said: “Can’t remember the last time I came here and there wasn’t at least a 20-minute wait, everyone returning cold food, or they got the order wrong, very often all three seem to happen, you need to sort it out, word gets around quickly about such dire service.”

McDonald’s Radcliffe

This takes the joint lowest spot as the worst McDonald’s in Bury along with the Peel Way restaurant.

This McDonald’s has only five excellent reviews and 32 terrible reviews.

It seems like people haven't held back with these reviews, with one person saying: “Should be an option for zero stars as 1 star is far too generous for this place and its inept staff.

“Customer service skills non-existent, service dreadful, food stale and cold. Half an hour waits with no apology, food order wrong when it finally arrived, again no apology.

“Wasn’t even busy. Don’t expect 5-star service in a “fast food” restaurant but this place is the pits.”
