A business is supporting a Bury based homeless charity this Easter with Easter egg donations.
The Co-operative Funeralcare in Bury have supported Bury Homeless Project for many years now by acting as one of their drop-off locations for a range of home and clothing items used to support the homeless population in Bury.

However, this year the Co-op are asking for the public to donate Easter eggs as well as toys, clothes and homeware items to spread Easter cheer to those who are being supported by the homeless charity.
Bury Homeless Project is run by a team of volunteers and work on a 1-2-1 basis with clients who are vulnerable and need assistance.

They take referrals direct from Social Services, Child Services, Probation, Schools, Medical Professionals, Refuge, and those rough sleeping who engage with an outreach team. They rely on donations and funds to keep the project running.

Donations of Easter eggs can be made Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm at the Co-op branch on Silver Street in Bury.
Donations must be made before 22 March.
