Bury College students studying hair and beauty have moved into a brand-new hair and beauty centre.
The ground floor is home to a 12-bed media make-up and special effects studio, a commercial 24-station hair salon and a 24-station make-up studio.

The first floor comprises of a 12-bed Nail Clinic, two 12-bed beauty clinics and the hair salon.
On the third floor, learners are now benefitting from two 24-station hair and barbering salons and both IT and general teaching space to support the specialist facilities.
Facilities will also be open for members of the public to receive discounted haircuts and beauty treatments.

Victoria Fell, faculty director for hair and beauty, said: "These incredible new facilities are going to give our learners the best possible start in their careers in the hair and beauty sector.
“I look forward to seeing how their skills continue to develop throughout their time with us."

It is home to a range of courses, from vocational courses up to degree level, as well as adult courses wanting to upskill and enhance current career prospects.
Funding for the new centre was provided by the Department for Education, from the FE Capital Transformation Fund and T-Level Capital Fund.
