Storybook bunny Peter Rabbit will be hopping down to Bury Transport Museum this Easter.
Families will be able to book a time slot to get a photo with the character and there will be theme park rides, craft activities and face painting opportunities.

The Peter Rabbit Family Fun Day event will take place on Easter Sunday (March 31) and Easter Monday (April 1)
Visitors will get the chance to ride along one of the heritage steam or diesel trains through the Irwell Valley to take in the stunning scenery.

East Lancashire Railway (ELR) chairman Mike Kelly said: “Families can take a trip down memory lane with Beatrix Potter’s woodland friend from Mr McGregor’s Garden coming to life for people young and old.
“We love to watch children’s book characters come to life at ELR and bring some magic to the tracks.

“The train ride around the beautiful surrounding woodlands is the perfect setting for little ones to imagine Peter Rabbit hopping around.”
Tickets cost £20 for adults, £17.50 for children and little ones under two have free entry.
The train ride is included in the price of the ticket, but families will have to book their train tickets on the website beforehand.
