Snow is forecast to hit the North West this week as temperatures are set to fall.
After mild temperatures over the past few days, single digit temperatures are set to return with the possibility of some snow falling on higher ground.

The Met Office has predicted that some hill snow could be forecast from Thursday to Saturday this week.
The outlook said: “Remaining unsettled and showery throughout the period, with the showers occasionally wintry, mainly over the hills.

“Feeling colder than of late as temperature return to near normal. Windy at times.”
On Thursday, Bury will only see highs of around 8C with lows of 4C.

Similar temperatures will remain on into the weekend with a mix of showers and sunshine.
