A person has been taken to hospital after a crash in Heywood.
The crash, which happened between Taylor Street and Fox Street yesterday evening, was attended by two fire engines.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 6.20pm on Thursday, 15 February, fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision between Taylor Street and Fox Street, Heywood.
“Two fire engines from Chadderton and Heywood and the technical response unit from Leigh attended the incident which involved two vehicles.
“Crews arrived quickly at the scene and worked to make the vehicles and the area safe. One person was treated at the scene by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service before being conveyed to hospital.
“Firefighters were in attendance for approximately 50 minutes.”
Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
