Drivers in and around Bury will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for in the next two weeks.
Four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
One closure is already in place:
• M60, from 8pm on Monday, February 5 to 6am on Thursday, February 8, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 both directions junction 16 to junction 18 - carriageway closure for structure and maintenance.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 9pm on Thursday, February 8 to 6am on Tuesday, February 13, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 18 to junction 19 - carriageway closure for white lining/road markings.
• M60, from 8.30pm on Monday, February 12 to 5am on Saturday, February 17, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M62 eastbound, junction 18 to junction 19 - lane closure for communications on behalf of National Highways.
• M60, from 9pm on Tuesday, February 13 to 6am on Saturday, February 17, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 20 to junction 18 - carriageway closure for white lining/road markings.
• A56, from 9pm on Wednesday, February 14 to 5am on Friday, February 16, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 northbound and southbound, junction 0 - two lane closure carriageway closure due to barrier repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
