A hair stylist based in Whitefield has been shortlisted in the official UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
Francesca Osler, 33, is in with a chance to win the hair extensions specialist of the year category.
Based at Pout Academy on Bury New Road, she has rented a chair at the salon for the past seven years and runs a hair extensions training academy, as well as having her own clients.

Francesca said: "This is my first ever national award and it’s honestly a dream come true, the little girl inside me is screaming right now.

"I thought after Covid and lockdown my business was crumbling but I have worked my hardest alongside bringing up my two children and launching my hair extensions training academy and it’s finally starting to pay off."
"Don’t give up on your dreams," she added.
The UK Hair and Beauty Awards sees the industry come together each year to celebrate in style.
The event supports businesses of all sizes helping those nominated to build up a following and recognition.
